Shibaali is a groundbreaking electro-folk project that unites the ancient and the modern – reimagining the timeless melodies of Iranian folk music with cutting-edge electronic soundscapes.

Central to the magic of Shibaali are Habib Meftah Boushehri aka Habibo and Rouzbeh Esfand, two prominent Iranian musicians with unique artistic legacies. Habibo, known for his mastery of percussion and wind instruments, brings rhythms inspired by the Southern Iranian musical heritage. Rouzbeh Esfand, a multi-instrumentalist and composer, adds intricate layers with traditional instruments like the tar and setar, creating an evocative interplay between past and present.

Together, they craft a live performance that resonates deeply, transporting audiences to the heart of Iran’s mountainous landscapes while immersing them in contemporary sonic textures.
