Marjan Farsad – Live in Manchester
Marjan Farsad is an accomplished Iranian-born artist, known for her diverse talents as an animator, illustrator, singer, and songwriter. Born in Tehran in 1983, she has made a significant impact on both the music and visual arts scenes.
Renowned for her debut album ‘Blue Flowers’ she blends traditional Persian elements with contemporary sounds, evident in tracks like ‘Khooneye Ma’ and ‘Porteghale Man’. Collaborating with Aida Shahghasemi on ‘Gole Koochak’ Farsad’s heavenly voice alongside Shahghasemi’s ethereal vocals has garnered acclaim as one of her most renowned collaborations. She has also collaborated with King Raam in the recently cherished ‘Black Cat’ track.
Currently on her first Euro tour, she is ready to hypnotise her audience in Manchester, London and the rest of Europe.
